1. Check that the opening and closing parts of the valve are in the correct position: The opening and closing parts of the ball valve should be in the open position, and the opening and closing parts of the gate valve, globe valve and check valve should be in the closed position.
2. Check whether the valve actuator is in good condition. When opening and closing the valve, the operation of the handle or handwheel should be flexible and light, and there should be no jamming phenomenon.
3. Check the inner wall of the pipeline, which should be clean without sundries, dust particles and liquids.
4. Carefully check whether the model and specification of the valve used are consistent with the pipeline design.
5. Check whether the operating environment of the valve and the pipeline system is consistent (media, pressure, temperature).

1. The valve should be installed as a whole, and disassembly is prohibited.
2. The thread of the pipe connected to the valve should not be too long, and the installation torque should not be too large. Otherwise, it will press against the limit surface of the valve, causing the deformation of the sealing surface and affecting the sealing performance.
3. Confirm that the flow direction of the medium is consistent with the flow direction mark of the valve during installation.
4. When installing the valve, PTFE tape or sealant can be used for auxiliary sealing. For specifications of 1" (DN25") and below, hemp rope with lead oil is not allowed.
5. When tightening the valve during installation, apply force to the wrench opening (hexagonal surface or octagonal surface) on the same side of the pipeline with the tool to prevent deformation.
6. During installation, ensure the straightness of the pipeline and the valve. At the same time, install a support within no more than 20 cm from the end face of the valve to prevent installation stress.
7. If leakage is found at the valve stem during the valve installation and debugging process, tighten the packing gland until there is no water leakage.
8. During use, the valve should be fully open or fully closed to avoid the medium eroding the opening and closing parts or the sealing surface, thus affecting the service life of the valve.
9. The water supply and drainage valves are not allowed to be applied to the pipeline system for transporting combustible gases and corrosive media.
